UK Pick-Up and Van Nationals 10am- 4.30pm Twinwood Airfield, Clapham, Bedford, MK41 6AB The Control Tower Arena is reserved for all pick-ups, vans, woodies, estates, commercial and countryman type vehicles including Veteran and Classics, Hot Rods and Americans, Custom and Replicas. Entrance also includes access to the UK Roadster Nationals in the WAAF Arena; the Glenn Miller and other museums housed in restored World War 2 buildings, music and entertainment for all the family, games in aid of EA Air Ambulance. Club stands, Trade stands and autojumble stalls are available. A separate display area is for other vehicles of special interest. Members of the public are also welcome. Theme vehicle owners will receive a glass memento of the event and entry into a free cash prize draw. Latest additions to the show:
We’ve got an Artists Corner this year at the WAAF Arenacomprising Paul and Tim’s Art Show, Image2 photography, Martin Squires- fineartist, Paul Yeoman who will be demonstrating air brushing and StuART.
A poker walk and other games in aid of East Anglian Air Ambulance.They will be collecting unused foreign currency, old UK coins and bank notes attheir stand so if you have any please bring it along for them to “recycle” andput to good use.
There will be a talk for anyone interested in the history ofRAF Twinwood Farm from the Second World War until the present.
