Restoring a Geest truck with an Albion gearbox. The lever on the gearbox is stiff with underuse presumably. The gear quadrant has R, N and 1,2,3 embossed but I only get three clicks out of my attempts to move it. The clutch plates are very, very oily so I suppose there is a seal in need of replacement. The box has RCH 241 stamped on it, also 16 elsewhere. Anybody got experience of these gearboxes?
